Answer: See your surgeon to make sure everything is okay If it was painful and you bled a bit, it was probably too early to have sex. Generally speaking, you should wait about 6 weeks or so after surgery before resuming sexual activities. It would probably be a good idea to see your surgeon so that they can make sure everything is okay.
