I’ve attached my Scan so you guys can see what I’m talking about. Also, will insurance companies usually approve septorhinoplasty? Or just the fix of septum and bone spur? I have Kaiser insurance. I suffer from migraines for 17 years almost daily and I know this has to contribute to them. I want only one surgery done so I want to make sure I can possibly do everything at one time.

Answer: Septorhinoplasty A septoplasty will correct the septum and can remove the spurring. This is inside the nose and does not address the outside shape. To treat both the septum and the hump (outside appearance) requires a septorhinoplasty. Insurance will not cover the hump correction, but check with your insurance provider first because all plans differ. Be sure to consult an experienced rhinoplasy expert to discuss your options. Best of luck!
