Does it hurt to have a chin implant removed using local anesthetic?

I can't afford to pay the general a anesthesia cost. Does it hurt to have it removed under local? What is the process? Thanks. I'm to the point where I have thought of removing it myself if it's so "simple" as every doctor claims.

Local anesthesia should be sufficient for the removal of a chin implant. Ask your surgeon for some pain and anti anxiety meds that you can take prior to the removal. If the nerves are properly blocked, this is not that involved of a procedure. Good luck

Chin implants can be inserted or removed under local anesthesia. Patient's most undergo approximate 6-8 shots along the chin line to perform a nerve block and once the injections have taken place  and the chin is numb, the implant can be removed. The procedure takes about 30 minutes. Make sure you're removing the implant for the right reasons.
