Do I have tuberous breasts as I'm worried they are deformed in some way? (Photos)

I think you look completely normal and you should not feel self conscious about your appearance. You do not have tuberous beasts. Enjoy your youth!

Hello, thank you for your question. I do not think you have tuberous breast. It seems like you can benefit from a breast augmentation if you want to add more volume, I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question.  Looking at your photos I do not believe you have tuberous breasts.  I do see that your nipple is a bit puffy.  I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options if you would like to address it.  Best of luck to you.

Based on your photos, you do not seem to have tuberous or deformed breasts. Your areolas seem to be a bit puffy. You should also be aware that breasts might change shape and size after significant weight change or being stretched from the milk of pregnancy. After the milk of pregnancy disappears, breasts might remain the same size, become bigger or smaller and/or droopier. And, what can happen can change from pregnancy to the next. Unfortunately, surgeons have created the term tuberous breasts, a fact which causes unnecessary concerns for women. Many women just have different sizes and shapes and in my opinion shouldn't be labeled. For those interested in breast enhancement, I recommend an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them.

Thank you for your question and photos. First off, please be certain that your breasts are not only entirely normal and pretty, they are indeed far from "deformed". Your left breast appears to have a slight puffiness of the areola (entirely normal, even if not desired) and this often corrects itself if excited or cold. If the relaxed appearance of your areola bothers you, or if your breast size concerns you, a plastic surgeon can advise you on your options, which might include a correction of the puffiness under the areola (a variant of a breast lift-even if your breasts do not need to be "lifted" but the skin may need tightening around the areola), or a breast augmentation, or both. Give careful consideration if you in fact even desire to have surgery, and if not, that is perfectly fine and reasonable. If so, please consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon, or more than one. Best of luck to you. 

SueI appreciate your concern, however your photos demonstrate that your breasts are essentially normal! They are on the small side, however they have a pretty shape and appearance. On one view there appears to be the tiniest amount of herniation of your nipple areolar complex which may cause the puffy appearance. However I do not recommend any treatment at all because overall they appear normal and attractive. Regards from New York City!

tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall.The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition.My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries.That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
