Hello, thank you for your question. You may benefit from a breast augmentation with scar revision, an augmentation will provide the volume you desire. A board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant measurements and desires measurements of the chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy.

I am sorry to hear about this.  You may benefit from surgical scar revision and placement of a small breast implant.  The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

I recommend an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the implants have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved.

You would benefit from some scar revisions although most of your scars healed well. I don’t like the suture marks on the incision under the breast but that would be improved with the scar revision. It is now uncommon for breasts to end up smaller than you thought because some fat gets absorbed over the first several months. It would be simple to add an implant at the tome of revision as well to give you shape you want.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  A thorough discussion with your desired goal results will first need to be had in order to offer the best recommendations.  From the looks of it, placement of well-sized implants, and revisions of your scarring should lead to a nice improvement.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You might need a revision surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

There is always something that can be done to improve your situation. It appears by your photos that you may benefit from scar revisions with augmentation, either with a small implant or fat transfer. Please select a plastic surgeon that is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and preferably a member of the ASAPS, (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).

Dear Chtdt,Your story is unfortunate and I'm sorry that you've had to carry the emotional burden for 15 years.  There are options to improve the appearance of your breasts.  These options may include scar revision, breast augmentation with breast implants, breast augmentation with fat transfer and possibly combinations of these options.  Seek consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon for an examination and discussion of your goals and options.  Good luck!
