I am 33 years old, 34DD, 5’3, 128 lb, no kids. I wish to reduce the size of my areola, reposition and reduce the size of my breasts(~0,5size) without affecting the breast tissue(want to breastfeed); haven’t lost/gained weight/throughout the years. I don’t worry about scars, I would be more happy for my breast to be healthy & in a better shape. Please don’t advise to wait after having kids, I don’t have a partner & my breasts affect greatly my confidence. So, in the next 5 years I will not have kids considering my dating success! :) Thanks!x
Answer: Which procedure I should choose to improve my breasts? From your photos and goals it appears you are a good candidate for a breast lift with a small reduction. This would decrease the size of the areola, modestly reduce the size of the breasts, and give a lifted appearance. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to learn more.

Answer: Breast reduction Dear MiaBS, breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Breasts You would do well with a breast reduction, which does include a lift. There is no need to wait until you have all the children you want to before having surgery. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing all your concerns and options.

Answer: Brest reduction/uplift Your photographs demonstrate that you could have a breast reduction/uplift and areola reduction. As part of this surgery the nipple/areolar complex has to be repositioned and some of the breast tissue has to be removed. There are some techniques that keep more breast tissue attached to the nipple than others but it is never possible to guarantee that breast feeding will be possible after this type of surgery. That said I have certainly had patients who went onto breast feed after reduction/uplift.

Answer: Which procedure to reduce areolar size and lift breasts? From your photos, you look like you are an excellent candidate for a modest breast reduction. This involves lifting the breast tissue at the same time and almost always involves making the areolae smaller, which sounds like exactly what you want. It is a routine procedure that needs to be planned carefully with an experienced surgeon who understands exactly what you want to get out of it. you will have a lot of choice about what size you want to end up being in its therefore important that you form a good, professional relationship with your surgeon through good communication, imaging, measurement and planning. In these difficult times we have been finding virtual consultations with Zoom to be very successful in getting patients on the right path and I'd be happy to talk to you in a bit more detail about your options if you wish. Please feel free to have a look at our website and get in touch with the office to make an appointment with me if you want to go into a bit more detail. Best wishes
