Question

I want this result to be normal, the sides of my ass sticking out and you see this is a failed bbl. I wonder if it is possible to slim it away even if it has been harvested from elsewhere on the body. can this be 100% gone if I lose weight or has the surgery ruined my butt shape forever? he claimed that this was a dream butt because he did not want to do anything more with it. and said I have to pay 20,000 to remove some of the fat on the sides, it does not look natural at all and I hope this can be slimmed down?

Indeed, if your only concern is “slimming” away of the sides then liposuction is likely your best option. However, if you have additional concerns, you are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.). It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor but rather the quality of the procedure that is a l n of large part of the problem.  Thus, going back for round 2 BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss.   Buttock implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness.  Occasionally a lower buttock tuck may be advantageous for lower buttock fold asymmetries and/or sagging. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Based on this, very limited information, you can expect good result providing that next surgery is done by an experienced surgeon with significant experience in body contouring surgery. Taking off some volume from your waist,  reducing lateral buttocks to  soften hip prominence and elongating buttock/hips adding volume to posterior aspect of thighs and lower lateral buttock, would create more balance and harmony in the central third of your body. Whether additional corrections may be needed can be decided only on the basis of in person consultation. Good luck.

I agree that you have excess fat laterally in your buttocks. If you just lose weight you will slim equally everywhere and your buttock will get slightly smaller but not change shape. However, this is easily fixable with a little liposuction to the excess areas. You should see other surgeons for evaluation and quotes for prices. I think you will find for what you need for a reasonable price. Good luck.

This is an overinflated buttock. Reshaping BBL with specialized taping can be offered. Only a very few boarded PSs in USA offer this option. Fees in the $8,000 ranges.

I agree that the lateral buttocks is too pronounced.  Either weight loss or a revision liposuction (for only around $4000) are strong options.

It is certainly very different than my approach to the BBL. My approach to the BBL is not about making a large but but rather creating large sweeping S curves from the knees to the shoulder.

If your provider is not willing to work with you then you will need to have in person second opinion consultations. Start scheduling those with local providers who have more and better experience with the BBL procedure.

Delivering consistent high-quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than people believe it. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of properly vetting plastic surgeons before committing to having these procedures.
