Will losing 4-5 pounds after fat transfer to face affect my results?

Question

I am currently losing weight and by the time my surgery date comes around I will be 4-5 pounds over my goal. Would losing 4-5 pounds after the procedure affect my results? Should I reschedule my surgery till after I have lost all the weight I want? Thank you in advance!

Once a fat graft heals, the fat will behave the same as fat in the rest of your body. Some fat responds more to weight change than other fat ( as we all know well!). 4-5 pounds sounds like a pretty small amount and is unlikely to effect your eventual outcome. Having said that, if possible, lose the weight first

Probably just loosing up to 5 pounds will not have much affect on your transferred fat. However, please do not try to loose any more or you will just shrink the fat transferred.
