Hi Doctors, I had my bbl on Feb. 20th 2019. The doctor injected 860 cc in each cheek & 100 cc each hip. The doctor used PRP with fat. My hips stay at 47 inches after a lot of swelling has gone down. But, yesterday I was warming a bottle of milk & I forgot the bottle was on the stove heating. I hurried to get the bottle. I did not run, but I did trot a little, for a distance of about 30 feet, for 15 seconds. I did not sweat. I'm worried this damaged my results. Can this affect my results? Thanks

Answer: BBL Post-Op Instructions Post-operative instructions are provided by surgeons in order to avoid unnecessary recovery risks, shorten the recovery length, and achieve optimal surgical results. Essentially, we do not want our patients to go home and when feeling a little better do something that will compromise results or cause complications (like go to the gym and lift weights or go for a run around the block). Therefore, these instructions should be taken seriously and followed appropriately. Unintentional things can happen (we once had a patient drop a large binder on her BBL) and when it does, if it looks or feels like it may have caused a problem it is always best to follow up with your surgeon.

Answer: Will hurried walking a short distance one month after BBL be detrimental? Hi and welcome to our forum!Strenuous exercise following liposuction may cause elevation of blood pressure and pulse rate, increasing the risk of bleeding for the first 2-3 weeks after the procedure. By now, that risk is reduced and the exertion appears to have been less than maximal. I doubt very much if you caused any damage. I would look for increasing buttock size, increasing bruising, and increasing pain. If unsure, visit your plastic surgeon to be sure all is ok.Best wishes...
