I had a BBL 5 days ago (March 13th) and noticed my hips are noticeably uneven. It looks like nothing was done to one of them. I know I’m still swollen but I don’t see that hip protruding out in the next few months. I’m happy it’s he way my butt look but sooo disappointed about my hips. How long do I have to wait to get surgery to get them evened up and will that be considered another BBL? I don’t want more fat put into my butt
Answer: BBL results Dear jazzy2468, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery. Answer: Uneven hips after BBL. How long do I have to wait to get surgery to even them out? (Photo) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Uneven hips after BBL. How long do I have to wait to get surgery to even them out? On average 5 days after surgery is too early to the make a decision on ones final result, usually 6-8 weeks or up to 3 months is required to consider if an area requires a revision or such up correction. Meaning your recovery and final result depends on the amount of fat removed from liposuction, the areas liposuctioned, and the amount of fat transferred to your buttock.

Answer: BBL revision Generally we do not perform revisions within the first six months. There are several reasons for this. Obviously results need to be final but scar tissue that develops from both liposuction and for transferring needs to mature which takes time. People are not symmetrical and you should look carefully at your before pictures to ascertain if pre-surgery asymmetry was present. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
