Hi,Thank you for including a photograph. It appears that you have left eyelid ptosis - which means that the left lid rests lower (abnormally) than the right side. Botox is not the answer here because you want to elevate he left lid, not lower the right lid. The only true corrective measure is surgical ptosis repair which can be done under local anesthesia (you do not need to completely asleep). I do recommend a consultation with a oculoplastic surgeon - they specialize in this type of surgery and you are likely to get the best result in their hands.Best of luck,Mehdi Sina, MD
Dear Wissy0580,Thank you for your question and sorry to hear that you are feeling down about your issue. It is difficult to make an accurate assessment and recommendations based on photographs alone. I recommend you seek further evaluation with a plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon or even an eye doctor first who can perform a thorough examination and discuss with you the best treatment options to meet your goals. Botox is one treatment that can be used to help open the eyes. It is important though to find out first what is causing the unevenness of your eyes (such as eyelid ptosis) so that it can be addressed appropriately.
You have a condition called eyelid ptosis. Botox may help if injected properly into the glabella but it may be quite difficult to do to get your eyelids exactly symmetrical. I would recommend you see a plastic surgeon that also performs Botox so you can hear the pros and cons of each procedure. Many of us are asymmetrical if that is any consolation. Good luck.
Although Botox can often be used to create small elevations of one or both of the brows , it will not work with you. You have ptosis of your left upper lid . This requires surgery to correct. I suggest you consult with an Oculoplastic surgeon.
In the picture, it appears the left brow and eyelid are droopier than the right. The correction for these asymmetries is surgery. The brow and eyelid may be elevated by endoscopic brow lift and eyelid muscle tightening, respectively. These procedures may be performed at the same time. Neuromodulator, such Botox and Dysport, will not address the asymmetries.
Brow lift with Botox could bring up your lid, making the eye appear more open. It will not make it perfect or greatly improve asymmetry. I suggest seeking a board certified plastic surgeon to get a good assessment. Best of luck!
You have left upper eyelid ptosis (drooping of the eyelid). Unfortunately Botox will not correct this problem. The only option that will correct this is a surgical procedure to lift the left upper eyelid. This is generally done with sedation in an operating room. You'll need to take it easy for about a week after surgery but then can get back to most normal activities. It is not essential that you have this surgery, but it is the only thing that will correct this problem.
It's difficult to tell from your picture. I recommend following up with your injector. Botox results resolve in 3-4 months. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi 92 Polo. The dots you point out in the photos do not appear to be associated with your treatment. These appear to be small acne papules or milia. Regarding the bump on the forehead, are you animating (pulling upward) while taking this photo? If so, this could be your natural foreh...
