Hi - The dr put botox around both eyes to stop right eye being so droopy but it's made it even more droppy and now the eyeball on show is tiny. Even my hairdresser noticed and thought I'd inflammed one eye. Had it on 21 Sept and then top up on 5 October. Since the 5th Oct it's got worse. I can not move my forehead naturally, so what can I do to get this sorted back to not looking smaller? Forcefully push it up? I can't wait 2 more months looking like this

Answer: Botox effects on forehead With what you mention in your history and on examining your photo, it appears one of two things could be going on. Either the injection was a little too close to your frontalis muscle (the muscle which raises your eyebrows); or the Botox tracked down a boney notch of your forehead under the eyebrow to your levator muscle of the eyelid (we all have this notch area; it is relatively easy to feel). The frontalis muscle problem just needs time to go away because unfortunately there is no reversal agent available (three to four months). The notch issue described in the second scenario can be treated with Iopidine drops prescribed by your physician. I hope this has been helpful. Best regards.

Answer: Sometimes best to wait it out for Botox adverse effect It is not possible to say much about your specific case without knowing the exact doses and placement, and what your pre-treatment appearance was. However, keep in mind that Botox relaxes muscles, so if it was placed into the forehead the expected result is brow drop. In the crow's feet area, the effect is the opposite because this is a muscle that pulls the brow down, so relaxing allows the forehead muscle to pull up unopposed. The problem with trying to treat at this point is that the Botox you might have now to balance things out will still be in effect after the previous treatments have worn off.
