Tummy has increased in size after full tummy tuck and Lipo? (Photos)

Question

It's now been three months since my full tummy and lipo and over the last two to three weeks my tummy have increased in sized. I am very worried that the operation might not have been done properly (not tight enough). Can you please advice?

It would be helpful if you also had your before photos.  Did you have muscle repair as part of your tummy tuck?  I encourage you to visit with your surgeon to discuss your concerns.

We don't have a comparison photo from earlier in the post-operative period and the photos above are all showing the abdomen above the umbilicus only.
Have you seen your surgeon to discuss this? You should have had a follow-up appointment to assess healing, size, shape, symmetry, scarring, satisfaction, etc. If not, then please arrange that appointment and state your concerns. Reasons a tummy could get bigger after such an op include; post-surgical swelling, weight gain, rectus divarication repair dehiscence, a mis-match between your expectations and the result, etc. Make a appointment with your Plastic Surgeon in the first instance and go from there.
