Swelling can be normal after injections of the tear trough.  This can be most prominent for the first few days.  However, if too much volume is injected, it may compress the drainage of the area leading to increased malar bags like you are experiencing.  At 8 days, this may still subside.  You and your physician are on the right track, give it a few more days and if its not better, reduce with small amounts of hyaluronidase.

Eight days is definitely too early to gauge the success of the injections and way to early to consider hyaluronidase. Let the product settle in for a full three weeks and then see your doctor if you are still unhappy.In the photos you sent, it looks like the main problem is loss of volume in the cheek. Patients who need fillers in their lower eyelids often also need volume in their cheeks. If you only treat the lower eyelids, the eyelids will look full compared to the cheeks. Again, it is too early to tell based on your case, but if everything stays the way it is, I would recommend adding some filler to your cheeks to balance the filler in your eyelids. Good luck!
