Is it ok to have breast augmentation while doing KETO dieting?

While there is limited study concerning dietary regimens and breast augmentation surgery, it is still best that you adhere to a well-balance and healthy diet to ensure that your body is well-prepared for the surgery and for the post operative healing and recovery. If you are concerned, it would be best that you discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon. Hello, I recommend to all my patients that they be on a well balanced healthy diet around the time of surgery. Surgery requires increased calories to heal, if you are not well balanced, it could put you at higher risk for poor wound healing. Dr P

There are limited studies that discuss the effects and possible benefits of keto diet. A well balanced diet with minimal intake of caloric food is good enough especially a few weeks before your surgery date. If possible, do not limit yourself with essential vitamins and minerals from food before and especially after the surgery as your body will need all these for healing through the next coming months. 

I highly suggest discussing your specific diet with your board certified plastic surgeon. This is important as each patient and their nutrition is unique and they will have a full picture of your health history. A balanced healthy diet is important to help you with healing and recovery.

I would have a discussion with your board certified plastic surgeon regarding your day to day dietary intake. It is very important your surgeon understands your nutritional intake prior to surgery because we want to make sure each person is at their healthiest prior to a surgical procedure. Many doctors do not understand the benefit of the keto diet. I have a bunch of blogs on my web site about the keto diet and keto supplements etc. I would recommend that you take a good multivit starting a few weeks before your surgery. make sure that you are taking in adequate fats and protein around the time of your surgery (ie you should not be losing weight). You should be fine for your surgery. david berman md

It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable.
