I want to have my nose done but i'm unsure if i'll be able to get the results I desire or not. I don't care too much about the nose as I do my nostrils but I wouldn't mind getting the small bump removed too. I'm curious as to what procedures I would have to get to sort my nose out as well as the costs of them. I have uploaded images of my own nose and my wanted nostril shapes (the model in all photos is the same person). Are these results possible to achieve? Thank you :)
Answer: Extremely large, ugly nostrils and awkward bump in nose Hello chatoyant,Thanks for your question.Rhinoplasty is the procedure that will allow you to soften the bump on your nose, lower your nasal rims, adjust your nasal tip position, and reduce your columellar show. You can get a reasonable approximation of the model's nose, but it won't be exact.Price ranges for rhinoplasty are going to be all over the place depending on the surgeon, their location, anesthesia costs, and facility costs. You may be quoted anywhere from US $5,000-$15,000.I recommend a consultation with a rhinoplasty specialist better understand your options and your limitations.Good luck,Dr. Shah

Answer: Achieving Your Desired Result Thank you for your question, chatoyant. Please do not feel alone as many patients are unsure if they will like their results. For that reason, we utilize the most advanced imaging technology to create samples of potential results our patients may experience. This allows both me as the surgeon and you as the patient to have a greater understanding of the procedure. I suggest you consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon with this capability so that you receive the greatest set of knowledge available to you. In short, yes you can have a Rhinoplasty to reshape the nostrils and address the bump. Keep in mind that the size and shape of the nose that looks right for the attractive model in a magazine may not look right on your face. It may not be the right proportion for your face. It is important that the nose be both symmetrical and proportional.Best wishes,

Answer: Rhinoplasty in texas You are a good candidate for a rhinoplasty.I would focus on reshaping and downsizing the nostrils and reducing the hump. In an interesting way they are connected. But that is too complex to go into here. Open rhinoplasty would be the way to go.Here are some specifics 1) Nostrils - The big issues are: a) alar - columellar disproportion and b) cephalically rotated lower lateral cartilages. I would reduce the caudal septum, that would let the columellar come up. I would reshape the lower lateral cartilages and put in alar rim grafts. That would push down the ala. This would reduce the nostril size appearance. 2) Hump - This is a relatively straight forward part of the procedure. And again it would help with the alar-columellar disproportion but creating more slack in the skin letting the ala come down a bit. There are only general conceptual points not recommendations.I would need to see you in person.London texas is only about 100 miles, 2 hours from Austin.Would be great to have you come in for a visit.Take care,ABW

Answer: Rhinoplasty, some advices: Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.The harmony between facial parts makes us instinctively recognize the beauty... without knowing it, without defining it, just a perception that surprises and captivates us.In this regard, I suggest perform a Closed Rhinoplasty (without visible scars) to treat the tip, base and nasal bridge. With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
