The T-junction is where the vertical and horizontal parts of the breast lift join, and blood flow there is often inadequate for quick healing. What you are experiencing is not uncommon, but do keep in close touch with your surgeon.

Thanks for your question. Small open areas can be common after this procedure. Keep it clean and apply antibiotic ointment over it.

Dear lala4man,this type of wound is not uncommon after breast lift. It is usually caused by poor blood flow. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon, follow your surgeon's instructions and keep your wound clean and covered. This type of minor opening is not uncommon, keep it clean and covered and see a local plastic surgeon if you have any concerns about infection.  Keep in close contact with your surgeon also, and see your own surgeon if you can.
