had a tt w muscular repair 7 months ago. Area under belly button to above incision is still very hard to the touch; it hard like a wooden/steel plate & I feel pain slightly & uncomfortable when I press on it. Besides, area below incision looks like still bruise. I cannot stretch as I wish as it’s still tight. Is it normal at this stage? how to resolve it? My doctor is in another country; when I write him, he ignores my concerns & says to give more time. Thanks

You are still very early in your recovery process. Continue to follow the advice of your surgeon. If over the next few months the area doesn't improve your surgeon can do a minor revision to correct it. This is often performed in the office surgical suite under local anesthesia.
