I've been battling with my body image ever since I went on Depo-Provera and gained 170lbs in 6months, I tried everything dieting, exercising, cut carbs etc etc. But nothing. What can I do?
Answer: Abdominoplasty No, at your current BMI you are not a good candidate for surgery. Your risk of developing a blood clot is too high. You should talk your primary care doctor to get help with your weight.Good luck

Answer: BMI At this time you are not a good candidate for these procedures. A BMI of 30 or under is recommended in order to minimize risk of complications such as infection, poor wound healing, seroma as well as sub optimal results. We offer a program in our office that can help patients lose weight and meet their goals before having surgery.

Answer: Too High BMI Based on your description, I would recommend a physician supervised weight loss program. Your risk of serious complications is simply too high for purely cosmetic surgery at this time. Furthermore, good cosmetic results will be much more difficult to achieve. When you reach your best sustainable goal weight, preferably with a BMI in the low 30's or less, you will be a much better candidate. Good luck!

Answer: BMI too heavy for tummy tuck I know that weight gain can be extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, tummy tuck and liposuction elective surgery is not a good answer. There are just too many added risks with excess weight and the results are almost always limited. You might have more healthy and safe results by consulting with a nutritionist, endocrinologist, personal trainer, or weight loss expert.
