I've had a tummy tuck, lipo and abs sculpting 2.5 years ago and healed nicely. I wasn't certain if this would be ok given the work I've had done. I don't have excess fat and have kept my weight down. Thank you.

Answer: Emsculpt after Lipo Thank you for your question. Most patients are great candidates for Emsculpt after a tummy tuck and lipo. Emsculpt will strengthen your core and tone your muscles. Each treatment is 30 minutes long and is equivalent to doing 20,000 sit-ups. Typically 4 treatments are recommended spaced 2-3 days apart in a 2 week period for best results. It is best to consult with a Medical Esthetician at a Board Certified Plastic Surgeons office.

Not to worry, Emsculpt is great in patients who have had stomach liposuction and abdominal sculpting. Of course you must not have any metallic implants or permanent metallic surgical staples within 7 centimeters of the Emsculpt treatment paddles. Our patients have been thrilled with their Emsculpt results. Just today I have had one patient thank us for his treatments, he has lost 3 inches in his waist and is able to "get into" the suit he needs to wear to a wedding this weekend. Another woman thanked us for the affect that Emsculpt has had on her workouts, stating that she is much stronger and can accomplish more. Her core is stronger and she is able to "cruise" through her yoga classes, particularly holding her plank position significantly longer. Go ahead and enjoy your Emsculpt journey.
