Hi, i am ready to get HIFEM sculpting, but I found there is not only single method but also there are newcomers. Some literature says there are differences in power(tesla) and customized programs supplier offer. Could I hear what professional doctors' opinion about these three?
Answer: Which device? EMSlim and EMSculpt are the same machine. Cooltone is new to the market and has not yet shipped (to my knowledge). They use similar technology and I would assume both machines will give a similar improvement. We have had EMSculpt for well over a year and have been extremely happy with the results we have seen in our patients.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa

Answer: How does emsculpt compare with cooltone? Hi, Emsculpt is the first to develop the technology in this arena, and was extensively studied before it came into the market. All followers, like the cooltone tend to be less well studied because they can piggyback their technology on the work of the ones that entered the market first. I had the option to purchase either machine, and I went with emsculpt for these very reasons. We have done thousands of treatments an everyone has results that were beyond expectations. Increase in core strength, reduction in fat not just in the area treated but adjacent areas like muffin top with abs treatment, and increase fitness capacity along with the visible changes in the area. Most notably, is the less talked about increase in mood and energy with each treatment. Clients are so motivated to keep up and boost their fitness pursuits after doing it. Many clients with chronic problematic back pain have found their solution with emsculpt which is to me a huge win! The lasting nature of the treatments also are remarkable. We do recommend 2 maintenance treatments once a quarter but likely the results last longer than this. I think if anything, the cool tone might be proven similarly effective, but we haven't seen that yet in the marketplace. It certainly has not been proven to be better, otherwise I would have it in my office. I hope this helps your decision, All the best Dr. Jamé

Answer: HIFEM versus CoolTone Thank you for your question. Emsculpt (HIFEM technology) was introduced almost 2 years ago after extensive research. It has been shown to increase muscle mass while burning fat. In contrast, CoolTone is technology that has been around for a number of years and was acquired by Allergan as a product to compete with Emsculpt. There are significant differences in the technology between these 2 devices and it remains to be seen whether CoolTone can match the results of Emsculpt despite the fact that the technology has been around for a number of years. It is my expectation that Emsculpt will be superior to CoolTone but until more extensive CoolTone data is available we won't know for certain.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: HIFEM Hi thank you for your question. We have Emsculpt at our practice and have seen great results. An Emsculpt study was done with an MRI taken at baseline and then again after the Emsculpt treatments. There was an 18.6% reduction in fat and 15.4% increase in muscle thickness. The Cooltone is a newer device and simply does not have the same scientifically proven results yet. The company says there will be publications later on so we will have to wait and see. For now it makes more sense to go with the Emsculpt. Hope this helps.

Answer: The difference in different brands I don’t think you’re going to find anyone who has purchased all three devices and has experience with all three. they’re expensive to the point of simply buying one device is going to be fairly limited for most practices. even then each individual person is unique enough that it’s very difficult to tell the difference. my best advice to you is to keep your expectations low find a provider you find to be most ethical look at price and have a treatment. Since these are not permanent treatments and results don’t really last all that long you’ll have the option of trying different brands yourself which will probably be the best way to find out.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
