Why is Esculpt so expensive?

EMSculpt is expensive for several reasons. The development and testing of the device for efficacy costs a lot of money and therefore the device is extremely expensive (over $100,000.00). So, for a facility to pay for the device, pay for the provider, the rent, etc. they have to charge a fair amount of money to make financial sense. The good news is that EMSculpt is extremely effective. EmSculpt uses MRI technology to contract muscle , build muscle and melt fat. It is safe and effective and takes 30 min per treatment. The cost of the treatments is reflective of the cost of the machine- it is expensive for doctors to purchase and there are also parts that have to be continually replaced. On the upside, it really works! The reccomendation is two treatments per week over two weeks. The results also last upwards of a year, without booster sessions.

This is a great question and there are several reasons. 
1. This is the newest, most consistent technology that increases muscle mass and reduces fat.....very desirable combination and not really any competition that delivers the results so quickly and long term. 2. The price for the Doctor to purchase the equipment is extraordinary. So in order to offer the service to clients, we have to price it accordingly. 
3. BTL the manufacturer requires the clinics that offer the emsculpt price it according to their rules in order to make it fair to all providers otherwise, some providers who have less volume may not be able to make offering the service profitable in their practice. 
4. Clinics that undercut the pricing may not be maintaining the equipment which also costs the provider to keep the machine working optimally, and so that cost is factored into it.

As the other practitioners have pointed out, the cost of the technology and labor involved is very expensive. But besides that, you must also consider what the alternatives are. Most other procedures, excluding going to the gym, hiring a personal trainer, and living a healthier lifestyle, involve much more expensive and invasive procedures such as liposuction and surgery. These, besides being at least 4 times the cost, have a much higher risk factor (infection and scarring) and also do not "guarantee" the results you may be hoping for.

Thank you for your question. Emsculpt is a medical device that costs around $180,000. This cost must be recouped by sufficient charges for the treatments. Additionally, practices incur the costs of rent, labor, promotion, and replacement of the applicators every 300 hours. The good news is that this technology really works! It achieves results that you cannot obtain on your own and that no other device can deliver.
