Hi Smitty,Happy and Healthy New Year! Since your tummy tuck was about 6 months ago (nice tummy), it is perfectly safe to proceed with your Emsculpt treatments as long as you do not have any metallic implants or staples in the area of Emsculpt treatment. Your Emsculpt abdominal treatment will build your muscle mass and likely improve the quality of your tummy skin. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA
Typically, patients are required to wait at least two weeks post surgery before pursuing post-op maintainence treatments. Since you are 6 months post-op you should be cleared to pursue Emsculpt. Be sure to verify with your board certified physician that you are a candidate. Best, Dr. Emer.
It can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months to heal from abdominoplasty surgery. As long as you can be cleared by the plastic surgeon, it should be safe for you to do Emsculpt treatments.
It can take anywhere from 6 months to 12 months for the area to fully heal after surgery. As long as you're cleared by your surgeon it should be safe to receive Emsculpt treatments. It's the perfect adjunct treatment to a tummy tuck because it will increase your results in tightening and firming the belly. Good luck!
Thank you for our question. Although it is difficult to say without an in person examination, Emsculpt can be a great option to help further sculpt and tone the muscle, following fat removal by liposuction. You will want to wait until your incisions have healed and swelling/bruising has subsided before undergoing Emsculpt treatment. To ensure safe and effective treatment, I suggest making an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for consultation before undergoing Emsculpt treatment.
Thank you for your question. Provided you did not have any complications from your tummy tuck procedure, it should be safe to have Emsculpt performed after 6 months. You should have clearance from your surgeon before proceeding.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
There is no exact time that we can advise. You need to be cleared by your surgeon for strenuous exercising and each surgeon and patient is different.
6 months would be fine! You are good to go. The longer you wait the longer it has time to heal. I am comfortable with 6 months.
With the exception of the maturation of skin incisions all your healing is complete including maturation of scar tissue. Very little is going to change from here on with the exception of your skin incision which should continue to improve for another six months.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
These are exactly the kinds of question I would like answered, and the kind that can only be answered after a large group of patients have been treated as part of a study. Those studies do not exist. Mainly, you have to rely on the advice of those who have just forked over $139,000.00 for the ...
Hi, Emsculpt is the first to develop the technology in this arena, and was extensively studied before it came into the market. All followers, like the cooltone tend to be less well studied because they can piggyback their technology on the work of the ones that entered the market first...
