Hello and thank you for your question. Yes! Botox can soften your Procerus muscle which is causing you the issue. These are easily blocked with 20 units of Botox. I recommend you to schedule with a highly trained and experienced physician for a proper evaluation.
Thank you for your question, To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling. I suggest getting a formal consultation with a facial sculpting expert.
Dear laurenbiran,Thank you for your question. Before committing to a Botox treatment you need an evaluation by a qualified, experienced injector. This evaluation will help determine the cause of the bulge, which is likely due to the muscles in the area or volume loss. Depending on the cause, Botox may not be the ideal treatment for youy.Good luck,Nirmal R. Thanks for your question and spontaneous photo! Likely if the bulge does not improve after complete paralysis of the brow muscles then it represents loss of tissue volume. A filler will help on both side of the bulge to "hide" it and smooth out the brow area. Please follow up with your injector for filler. Best!
Thank you for sharing your question. Ensuring complete paralysis of the muscles in the region is important to smooth the area and lead to atrophy of the muscle bulk, so that would be the first thing to ensure. If little improvement is seen over a series of sessions, then consider fillers around the bulge to make it less apparent.
Hello there, The bulge you are seeing is either from muscle movement in that area "squeezing" this muscle, or it is from muscle mass itself. By fully correcting the muscle movement in this area with 20-22 units of neurotoxin, and maintaining this correction for at least a year, you should see significant reduction in this "bulge". If you do not see correction with this approach, filler may be a good option to soften any volume reduction surrounding the area. Be very cautious in who you trust with this injection, as it is a risky area. Sarah RN BSN
A bulge between the eyebrows would most commonly be caused by activation of the procerus muscle. this is usually treated with Botox. If the “bulge” remains when the muscle is at rest it’s more likely a component of volume loss. I would start with Botox and then address any volume loss depressions with fillers. It would be a good idea to have an evaluation by someone well versed in both neurotoxins and injectable fillers. Best of luck!
Most likely this is the procerus muscle although the picture is not very good. it should get smaller with Botox with correct dosage and technique. see a board certified and experienced dermatologist
Difficult with just a static photo but it looks like what you are calling a bulge is a prominent Procerus muscle, Repeated Botox injections should cause the muscle to atrophy and become less prominent. You should discuss this with your physician the next time you are having upper face Botox You may need a few extra units into this muscle but I would expect it to help. It could also help to give a little less to the corrugaters as it may be a relative thing.I would expect a good result with such tweaking the Botox units.
Thank you for your question, Neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) and soft tissue fillers like Belotero can improve the appearance of the forehead by reducing lines, wrinkles and folds. Deeper lines and wrinkles need a combination approach with Botox, fillers, lasers, ...
Botox can sometimes be used to help give a subtle neck and jawline lift. There are also fillers available to sculpt this area such as Volux by Juvederm which is specifically designed for the jawline. I encourage you to begin by visiting with an expert injector near you for an evaluation and to...
Hi, Botox has been proven to prevent or minimize facial wrinkles. This is not a proven benefit with yoga. However, there is no harm in doing both treatments.
