Six weeks after ThermiTight & liposuction, are these symptoms normal?

These are very common symptoms after ThermiTight and liposuction. While some patients see side effects subside within 2-4 weeks, others may experience them for even longer. My guess is that you will start to see improvement within the next week or two. However, if your concerns persist, a follow-up visit with your doctor will likely put them to rest. 

It is pretty normal to experience some lingering numbness, swelling, and even lumps.  The traumatized fatty tissue can form firm lumps which are palpable, but not usually too visible.  I would recommend aggressive and firm massage of the lumps, and can be assisted with a warm compress. Often a small personal massager can help soften the lumpiness faster.  It takes several months to a year to see the full results from thermiTight, so patience is required.  The results continue to improve with time and are often worth the wait.If you have any further issues, ask your provider.

Swelling, numbness, lumps/bumps and areas of firmness can be expected to some degree after a ThermiTight treatment. This is largely due to the inflammatory response the procedure induces. This usually resolves with time. It usually takes an average of 2-4 weeks, but can take longer in some situations. I would recommend you follow up with your treatment physician for an evaluation. Numbness and swelling after liposuction with ThermiTight is normal and is mainly caused by the liposuction portion of the procedure. It can last for several months and most of it is usually resolved by 3 months. The swollen lumps under the jawline could be swollen lymph nodes as a normal reaction to the procedure. They swell up to produce more white blood cells to help the body heal and can be painful when they swell. They should go back to their normal size once you are done healing.
