I was told I'd be able to resume to my normal life and activities 24 hours after the procedure, I however was not told I'd have to quit smoking. Had I known this, I would have tried to quit, but as you can imagine it is hard to quit cold turkey! I've been cutting back and only smoking 2-3 cigarettes a day. Since I've gotten thermitight/rf on my arms, along with liposuction, will smoking cigarettes ruin my results? Will it prevent the skin from tightening? Please help.

I advice my patients to avoid drinking alcohol for 5 days before and after the procedure. Alcohol affects blood clotting and can increase bruising and swelling. 1 or 2 drinks is not going to cause any major problems, but to avoid any issues it would be best to wait a few days.
