I am looking to get the tracheal shave done and I am worried about the incision. Can you please assist?

Thank you for your question. A scarless approach to reduce the Adam's apple is possible via an incision in the mouth. I use the same incision to simultaneously perform the chin/jaw reduction and the tracheal shave. I was the first in the US to publish this technique and have extensive experience in it. Dear Tristathequeen,There is an intraoral technique that can remove your Adam's apple. This means that you will not have a scar on your neck. The incision will be in your mouth.

The incision for tracheal shave (Adam's apple reduction) is usually very slight and heals well. It can look like a mole removal if there is anything remaining.  We can also do it through the mouth.  In that case, there is no visible external scarring.
