I had my breast augmentation 3 weeks ago. 620 cc gummy bear. The doctor noticed in my post op appointment that my right breast had a mild double bubble but mentioned that it will eventually go away in a couple of weeks. He didn't recommended taping or underwire bra. He actually said that I didn't need a bra after 2 weeks. He said that would help the implants to settle and the double bubble to go away. My doctor is in a different country and is hard to get a hold of him.

Answer: Breast Augmentation Recovery Jess. I appreciate your concern, but I would continue to follow your plastic surgeon’s instructions and I agree that you should not wear an underwire bra at this time. I ask all my breast augmentation patients to stay away from underwire bras for six months after surgery to allow the implants to settle. As your implants settle in, your results will continue to improve. Especially considering the fact that your implants are fairly large. It may take as long as six months for the overlying skin, breast tissue and muscle to relax, allowing your implants to soften and settle. Best of luck.

Answer: Double bubble Hello and thank you for the question. It's best to examine you in person before giving you a definitive recommendation. You are still early in the recovery and your results will likely change over the course of next several weeks. Having said that, there appears to be some element of inframammary fold disruption, that may need to be repaired surgically. It's best to discuss these with your surgeon.
