My mobile lid is (depending on the day) either about one quarter or one third the height of my eye not including the lid. Would an upper blepharoplasty make my eyes look better or worse? Please note in the second picture my brows are drawn too low with makeup.

Answer: Blepharoplasty Your lids are youthful in appearance; hence, you do not require eyelid or blepharoplasty surgery. Because your bone (orbital) above the lids is prominent you would not have much more lid visible than you now have. Eyelid surgery is best when there is extra upper eyelid skin that extends to or beyond the lashes and when there are pockets of bulging fat.

Answer: Upper eyelid bleph You have a full upper lid which is quite normal. Your upper eyelid skin is still above the lashes so you have a visible platform. It is not large but probably never has been. If you do an upper lid bleph, you could decrease the fullness if that is the look you want to obtain. But most people prefer the look of a fuller lid and brow. So I would not recommend any surgery at this time.
