I am 61 and do want to tighten up my turtle neck, chin. Surgery and UltraShape or Ultherapy is not what I want. And how many treatments would I need to make a visible difference. I am well aware that RF can not achieve surgery results. I would like to have it done as fast as possible. And what can happen if I don't leave enough time between treatments?
Answer: RF Neck Skin Tightening Thank you for your question and pictures. I don't think you will see much improvement with completely non-invasive RF treatments on their own. You may want to consider a subdermal RF treatment like ThermiTight. The downtime is about 1 week of swelling, the results are more dramatic with a single session, and it will probably end up being more cost effective in the long run. I would recommend you see an experienced physician for an in-person consultation and examination. Best wishes.

Answer: Recommend waiting 3-4 weeks in between treatments. Morpheus8 is a great microneedling and RF treatment Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: RF Skin Tightening Ultherapy is ultrasound while RF Microneedling Skin Tightening uses radio frequency. Both are energy based procedures that stimulate and remodel collagen. Typically Ultherapy requires one treatment every year and radio frequency skin tightening requires a series of three to four treatments that are three to four weeks apart.

Answer: Non-Invasive Skin Tightening Thanks for your question and posting picture. Radio Frequency (RF) skin tightening is a great non-invasive treatment that is safe all areas, even around your eyes and under your chin. Bulk RF heating causes some of the existing collagen to collapse, stimulating your body to generate new replacement collagen. This is not a laser so it is safe for all skin types and can be done safely year round. It feels like a warm rock massage. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOWNTIME. Almost all of the other options you mentioned have down time, some very significant. Collagen building takes 90 to 120 days to see the results, so be patient. We recommend 1 treatment per decade. In your 30's, we would suggest a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. You will continue to build collagen for up to 6 months after the last treatment and the collagen lasts 10 - 15 years. Mono-pole RF like Pelleve will drive the heat deeper than multi-pole devices. Best of luck.
