Thanks for your question and posting a picture. The dark spot look like you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). It looks like you also have some underlying scarring that would also be helped. After a personal consultation, we would probably recommend the PicoSure Laser with the FOCUS and or Flat Lens for pigment and texture correction. PicoSure is safe for all skin types. Summer is probably not the best time to start IPL treatments. Let your local provider help you decide.
