HIFU Ulthera full face left marks/burns on my face. Will the marks (or burns) go? How long will it take? (photo)

Persistent redness after Ulthera to the face is very rare and may lead to scarring. In order to prevent any permanent scarring, I suggest going to a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist as soon as possible. They can help intervene with the appropriate treatment options at this critical stage of healing. I also recommend having all facial cosmetic treatments done by a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist moving forward. In my practice, we have more than 45 lasers that we use, sometimes in combination, to customize treatments to the unique treatment needs and goals for our patients.

I suggest scheduling a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist as soon as possible to prevent permanent scarring. I would also recommend having all of your facial treatments with a physician as they can help you choose the best treatments for your skin type, and manage any complications that may arise from treatment.  Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your question and photographs. It looks like there was quite a bit of superficial heat on each of those spots which does not happen often. It is important to protect your skin with sunscreen daily until these are fully healed to prevent further skin changes and decrease the risk of scarring.
