I had a breast augmentation a week ago, and today they are red and hot to touch. I DO NOT have a fever, but my breasts themselves feel achy, but not painful. I am still on my antibiotics I have one more day left. Is this normal?

Answer: After breast augmentation, is it normal that my breasts are red and hot to the touch? From the pictures you posted and your description, it is difficult to say whether or not the redness is normal. I believe you would benefit by an in-person evaluation by your surgeon to create certainty. For more information on this and similar topics, I recommend a plastic surgery Q&A book like "The Scoop On Breasts: A Plastic Surgeon Busts the Myths."
