I have been debating my implant sizing over the past few months - based on two consults I am considering either 295cc moderate silicone under muscle, or 325cc high profile. I am hoping to achieve a natural, proportionate look - I an l5’7, 125lbs and am a 34a (breast base width is 13.3cm). I’m worried the 295 moderate will be too small as I consistently hear girls wish they went a little bigger.
Answer: Breast implant size Hello, thank you for your question and measurements. Yes it is true most likely across the board that women wish they went larger after breast augmentation. The difference of only 30cc is not going to be apparent to the regular eye. If you are leaning towards the bigger implant size or worried it will be too small then go with the bigger size. If you are worried they will look too large and ridiculous then go with the smaller size. Importantly enjoy this transformation! very excited for you good luck!.

Answer: Size Go back to the surgeon you prefer and ask to try on both sizes so you have a better idea of what you may see. Otherwise, go with the larger implant.

Answer: Choosing an implant Selecting the right implant for you is best done together with your board certified plastic surgeon. Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to help you get a feel for how you may look after surgery. The volume difference between the two implants you are considering will not be very noticeable, if at all once in the body. You will want to select the implant that best fits the breast space with the projection you want.

Answer: Breast implants Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Thirty cc’s will not be a large difference between the two implants, but high profile may give you slightly more projection. You may want to consider 3D simulation to gauge how the two implants will look.

Answer: Implant size Dear tay111, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
