How long does Voluma last in the jawline (massateur) vs. deep in the cheeks when the same amount is used?

 Voluma when injected deep on top of the bone ( eg. cheek bones or jawline bone -bellow the masetter) should last up to 2 years in my experience. 

Voluma filler
typically lasts for between 12 and 24 months depending on the patient’s metabolism.
The area of injection should not impact it’s lasting effects.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question!  For most patients Voluma should last for approximately the same duration in either the cheeks or jawline.  This will depend on the amount of material placed into each area, as the cheeks often require a greater amount of material and may “look” corrected for longer.  Hope this helps.

If it is injected into a more mobile area of the face, there is a chance the product may last less time. Voluma should last for the same duration the cheeks and jawline. Typically, the filler last anywhere from 1-2 years. Longevity can depend on amount of product initially injected and on your individual metabolism.
