Injector plans to use Voluma on high cheek bones. Reading through doctor answers on RS, I am confused about where to inject to achieve contour. Apples of cheeks or high cheek bones? I am having one syringe for each side, I can’t afford more. Is this a waste of money? Should I get Botox around eye instead? Wrinkling around my lower eyes when I smile and bags are what bothers me.
Answer: Voluma on High Cheekbones or Apples? Voluma on Cheekbones Lifts Eye Area, Too You have significant volume loss in your face which could be beautifully improved with Voluma in either the cheekbones, apples, or both. If you’re bothered by wrinkles around the lower eyes and eye bags, then your injector’s chosen the right area to focus on first. By building up the cheekbones, you’ll also lift the under-eye trough a bit. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert at sculpting the face with Voluma.

Answer: Voluma Cheek Augmentation Hi and thanks for your question. Augmenting your cheeks and cheekbones with Voluma would absolutely be money well spent. You have volume loss in both the apple of your cheek and in the area of the cheekbone. This volume loss is making you look older than necessary. I would recommend augmenting both the apple of the cheek and the cheekbones, although I would be conservative with your cheekbones. Wrinkling around your eyes when you smile is a seprate issue and can be treated with Botox. The Voluma will not improve that. If injected correctly, the Voluma should help to camouflage the bags. Make sure that you are going to a very experienced and artistically gifted injector. These are procedures that are tricky to get just right. Make sure you have seen the person's before and after gallery. Hope that helps.

Answer: Cheek Augmentation (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill), Sculptra, implants, fat Injections can be in both places and will depend on your desired results. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Juvederm Voluma injections to the midface/cheeks The majority of the filler will be placed in the lateral part of the midface/cheeks to improve cheekbone definition, to correct volume loss, and to lift the face. However, some filler may also need to be placed in the anteromedial cheek to correct volume loss. It's important to understand that these treatments are a process and a commitment. You may required several different treatments in combination and several different treatment sessions to achieve the correcting you are looking for. Then you will need to maintain these results with regular treatments. I think it is important to understand this before committing to a single treatment. Good luck.

Answer: Voluma You have beautiful high cheekbones but need some volume replaced in the depression that extends from the inner corner of the eye downwards. I guess this would be “the Apple” portion but I avoid that round shape as it is less natural in appearance. I try to achieve a sweep up connecting to your high cheek bone. I think your a great candidate and wish you the best of luck!
