Thank you for your question. Please speak to your plastic surgeon as every surgeon has their own protocols.
You should wait to see your surgeon or his/her team after the operation and ask when it's safe to do so.
Thank you for your question. I would recommend waiting at least a month to make sure that your incisions from your augmentation have totally healed. However, this is something you want to talk to your surgeon about, as everyone heals at different rates, and they are more familiar with your body and your procedure. Good luck!- Edmund Ek, MBBS
Hi dew13,You can get the tattoo whenever you want to. Waiting won't change the risks associated with getting a tattoo. Check with your surgeon to make sure.Good luck,Dr Wilson
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question.I recommend you to ask directly to your plastic surgeon, because it's very important to follow his/her instructions. Having said that, i personally recommend to wait 4 to 6 months in your case, just to avoid any complication, like infection, and so the healing process is finished.Hope this could help and good luck :)
Great question. The only concern here is possible infection of the implants from "seeding". The theory here is that during a tattoo, or dental work or something similar, there is trauma to the skin and bacteria from the skin get into the bloodstream. Those bacteria could then make it to the implants and potentially infect them. Although the likelihood of this is low, it is still something to be careful about. I would typically recommend waiting about 2 weeks for everything to heal up and inflammation to settle down before having such a procedure. There is no magic number. I would ask your surgeon what their preference is. "The above answer has been given without seeing this patient and cannot be substituted for actual in-person examination and medical advice; it is only opinion. Seek in-person treatment with a trained medical professional for appropriate care."
I would suggest waiting at least 4 weeks, but please ask your surgeon what he/she prefers. You do not want to risk infection early after surgery.
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Congratulations on your decision to have a breast augmentation! Our patients are VERY happy with this procedure. With regards to your tattoo, you want to wait until the incisions are 100% healed. Waiting 4 weeks is a sure-fire way to get to this time point. In addition, you may want to consider taking a dose of prophylactic oral antibiotics 2 hours before the tattoo, and again after you are done. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. I suggest that you find a board-certified plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of patients who have had similar procedures. Good luck! Confirm with your surgeon, but I would advise you to wait at least 4 weeks before getting the tattoo.
What you have is unusual after a TUBA, and it appears that you have had them for a long time. These lines can usually be improved by injection of a locally active steroid (Kenalog) or by using a liposuction canula to break up the scarring. Very firm massage to the lines may also help, but...
Unfortunately, there isn’t a non surgical way to significantly increase your breast size reliably and safely. Breast augmentation with implants is a relatively safe surgery that millions of patients have been extremely satisfied with. There are various types of implants that can help you a...
Thank you for your question. Your body changes so much during pregnancy that if you get any sort of cosmetic procedure done before you are pregnant, there is a very good chance you will need further surgery later. Especially when it comes to breasts - they grow and swell during pregnancy and...
