I went to see Dr Verbin for a general consultation. He and his staff are very professional but also welcoming and operate with an overall positive energy. I got dysport to address my “#11’s” and crows feet. I’ve had this done in the past by other injectors and never loved the results as I have a heavy brow naturally and tend to look angry or menacing for the first few weeks after injectables. I explained my concerns to Dr Verbin, he really understands the facial anatomy and explained why I didn’t get my desired results in the past. He took a totally different approach with where he injected actually avoiding most of my forehead. I couldn’t be happier! I look relaxed, my smile looks natural and my eyes soft but without the creases. He’s a bit more $ because he’s a surgeon but he said to expect results to last longer than the standard 4 months, closer to 6. I’ll never go anywhere else.
I had two facelift surgeries with Doctor Verbin. Both of the procedures to rejuvenate my face were done under local anesthesia and I was awake throughout them, per my choice (While I do not recommend being awake for this kind of surgery for others, I have a higher than normal tolerance for discomfort and both surgeries ended up to be rather long). Being awake gave me a perspective of how much intensive work goes into a surgery like that; both times, I was surprised how labor intense these procedures were (it was not simply pulling or trimming the skin - it was focused and active work the whole time). My first surgery focused on the face, the second more on the neck area. The first surgery lasted approximately 7.5 hours. Doctor Verbin restructured the tissues underlying my skin. He lifted the skin minimally. He likes/specializes in natural look, and works hard to rejuvenate the face from the inside. The end result (after recovery period) was a refreshed look with beautiful and youthful cheeks. My healing went super-fast (I had some lumps and numbness like others who go through similar procedures that all resolved) and the scars were hidden inside ears and hair; no complains. My lower face looked better, however the platysma bands ended up showing up as a small turkey neck and a line, much to my dislike. The neck was my primary concern initially. I need to put a disclaimer her: Dr. Verbin considered platysmaplasty at the time of my first surgery, but told me that I am too young for a scar under chin. Also, I have a small chin and a scar like that would be harder to hide than in other types of faces. We tried botox to relax that muscle, but without substantial change. My neck ended up bothering me a lot. My second surgery to address this concern, completed a year later, lasted 4.5 hours. Being awake for the procedure, I could observe Dr. Verbin work tirelessly and very hard to tighten the structures underneath and reorganize my neck bands without the cut under my chin. The length and labor intensity was a surprise to me. I thought he would only work on the neck to address my concern and just tighten a neck skin minimally, given previous procedure. To my surprise, he seemed to restructure my lower face completely. I have a substantial improvement in my whole face now. My face looks very youthful and softer overall. The neck is smoother and lifted. The turkey neck diminished. It’s not in skin but what is underneath, I think. It looks like in younger people. I am extremely happy. It is amazing waking up every day to this. I feel so beautiful that I often go out without make-up. I am also comparing my results from doctor Verbin’s to those of my friends who went to other doctors. One of my friends paid a fraction of what I paid. Unfortunately, she has that pulled look with the lips corners going “jokester” – she seems happy but I would never appreciate that look. I love Dr. Verbin’s work. He is truly talented and knows what he is doing. And OMG, I look that good! I had other surgeries too with Dr. Verbin. He is “my doctor” for everything related to plastic surgery or aesthetics (injectable, various consults, surgeries, etc.). What I like the most about Dr. Verbin is that he never makes me look “plastic” - for example, he refused to give me injectables on occasions stating, “You don’t need more.” He also refused to lipo my knees as a part of my body makeover, telling me that fat would look better than saggy skin for me (now I see other women who complain about saggy skin after lipo and I see why). I trust him to make me look beautiful and natural, every time, regardless of the procedure. The staff working with him makes it extra special and comfortable every time. Britney and Maria are amazing, flexible, smart, and no nonsense girls with genuine personalities assisting with all aspects. Robin, Office Manager is very professional yet caring. Ellen is great relatively new addition to the team, at the front office; she is a beautiful soul and very organized. They always return my calls/emails and answer my concerns. They are all create a family-like and very comfortable and real/genuine/caring atmosphere. I am so happy! Thank you Dr.
Dr-Chris Verbin is a wonderful doctor. I would not let anybody else do any thing to my face. I have recommended many people to him and they are very satisfied. There was no down time because of Dr. Verbin’s expertise . I thank him everyday for what he did. I have had a facelift six years ago. It was fantastic.
I couldn’t be happier. I look refreshed and natural. I look 10 years younger. My girlfriends are all going for a consultation with Dr Verbin because they are so impressed with my results. They feel confident having Dr. Verbin do a procedure on them too. He’s professional and very meticulous about your health history, sterilization, and follow up care.
I'm a very active stay at home mom of a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Im also a licensed hairdresser, and I still do some of my clients from home. I had beautiful perky full C small D breast before having my children, after nursing them both for about a year, I was left with saggy A sized breast.y goal was to get my old breast sized back. I went with shaped textured gel implants 375cc and 410cc to even them Out. So far it's been 5 days, and I'm feeling really good. I've weaned off of the pain meds (because of constipation) and am just using Motrin. Yesterday I did laundry and light housework. I love my new boobs, they seem to change a little evry day, I'm excited for the drop and fluff phenomenon!
I had a severely atypical mole that needed a complete removal from a trickier spot on my shin. I was scared of the severely atypical mole, then had been seriously rattled by another brash plastic surgeon at a different practice, all of which left me even more scared about surgery. My dermatologist recommended Dr. Verbin. I was trembling and fighting tears before my consultation. When I got to his office, the environment was peaceful and his staff was kind and friendly. I was starting to feel a little better. Then I met with Dr. Verbin. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, calm, friendly, and was so positive that I left feeling confident in him and feeling way better about everything I had been scared of. Dr. Verbin had me in for surgery a week later. I was greeted with warm friendly smiles. Dr. Verbin and his staff were patient with me being scared, they were reassuring, and supportive during surgery. The surgery was painless and not at all as bad as I had anticipated. After surgery they let me know what to expect at home and said they were there if I needed anything. Healing was mildly uncomfortable for the first few days but easy. When I went back a week later, the incision had healed quickly and looked clean. A week or so after that, the incision looked seamless to me. Now over a month out, I couldn't be more pleased with the looks of the incision, it is healing so beautifully thanks to Dr. Verbin's skill. I am so relieved to have found Dr. Verbin. I needed two things: I very much needed to feel comfortable and I needed to have this procedure done. Dr. Verbin exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank him and his staff enough. I told my dermatologist how extremely happy I was with my entire experience, I told my friends, and I would recommend Dr. Verbin to anyone.
My motivation was my face was beginning to fall and I have never liked my chubby cheeks. I had a mini face lift, buccal fat pad removal, lip reduction. face peel, and fat injections. I am very pleased with my mini face lift. Dr Verbin didn't pull my face too tight. The buccal fat pad removal made my face look more defined and got rid of my chubby cheeks. I have never like my large lower lip and was nervous to get done thinking it would be numb forever. It was only numb got two weeks and it turned out great. The fat injections turned out great too.
My counsultation with Dr. Verbin and his staff was amazing, he took his time to explain what I needed and when I left his office, I knew that he was the one to perform my surgery. I have had other consults, but none like him. I stand in the mirror and can't believe that I had my breasts done, BUT I am SO GLAD that I went through with the procedure. Thank You Dr. Verbin!!! :)
Just like many other people, I have wanted a breast augmentation since I wasn't growing anymore. :) I never thought it was a possibility. It was something I always wanted to do, but that was it. I NEVER thought it could happen. It wasn't until I actually talked to my Fiance about it, he helped me realize, why not? Why can't I do it? And he was right! What was stopping me? The money? He said we could always make more money. If I really wanted to do it, I should. So..... I started looking! My sister in law recommended her Dr., so I made an appt! I really feel that finding the right PS is the most important thing. They can really make or break the experience. My Dr. was extremely informative and his entire staff was so friendly and supportive. He went through all the risks, and actually spoke to me like I wasn't an idiot. I hate when doctors do that! He really helped me through the whole process. I am only 3 weeks out, so I will continue to post my progress. Writing on these kinds of sites is not really my cup of tea, but this website helped me so much, I hope I can help someone else. Getting this surgery done is a big thing, and is life changing. I cannot stress enough that it needs to be done for the right reasons. The confidence boost I received immediately after was incredible. My boobs are still sitting high, but I finally have something there!! I was always picky about clothing. I stayed away from all sorts of shirts and dresses, because I thought, " I could never wear that!" or "I couldn't pull that off". Now, I can! Here are my stats: 5"3, 115 lbs. After the first initial consultation, I had to bring pictures to my pre-op. I am a horrible judge of sizing other women's breasts. The boobs that I chose were all super large! Like a size F!!! hahaha. I found a really great website of just boobs. If anyone wants to know the site, message me. It really helped me look at other women's breasts. I tried the magazines, but I didn't find many pictures!!! Anyhow, I mentioned wanting a "C" cup, and everyone is right. Cup sizes all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. It was a little confusing as to what size to get. After my Dr. measured me, he said we could do a 370cc. I was looking at other pictures of 370, and my confusion got worse! On some women it looked super big, on others, it looked tiny! Ugh! How to make this decision!!!! This is why the PS's are soooooo important! It is hard to know what is perfect in other people's minds! Their expertise is what you have to count on. I found that my pictures I chose played a huge role in what size to get. The day of my surgery , we were going to do 370cc Sientra. My Doctor however, really considered what pictures I brought in, and had a Allergen rep come in to show me the Natrelle 410. He recommended these, because he thought it would be closer to what I really wanted. So, last minute decision, I got 475cc. I know this sounds like a huge jump, but I am SO glad that he did this. I feel like if I had gone 370cc, I would have been disappointed. I mean, let's face it, anything is better than nothing, but we are not doing this for a "slight" improvement, right? I couldn't be happier with my breasts. I literally feel like a new woman!! I am for once, excited to go shopping!!! I can't wait until I can go bra shopping!!!! Ok! I will post some pictures! I wish I had posted earlier, and said more of the healing, etc. It's painful, but nothing we women can't handle. :) Feel free to message me with any questions! I'd truly love to help!!! Updated on 1 Oct 2014: Updated on 1 Oct 2014: Updated on 1 Oct 2014: Hello. I just got back from my 3 week post op appt. The doctor said my incision site is healing nicely, but they are still a little firm. He has prescribed singulair, to help with the firmness. Also, I'm to massage twice a day. From what I've been reading, it seems it takes months to actually soften? Not gonna lie, a little concerned. It's still early though. It seems they are still tight around the bottom area and incision site. The top part is really soft. I guess we will see! I will upload pictures in a bit! Updated on 1 Oct 2014: Updated on 12 Nov 2014: I can't believe how fast the time has passed! I am feeling back to normal. My Dr. said I could start working out again! Yay!!! My right boob has dropped a little faster than my left. You can see it in the photos. I still has some soreness when I wake up though. Can't really sleep on my side yet. Overall, very happy!!! Oh, BTW, the strips I have on are silicone strips.
Totally worth it. My saggy shrunken breasts and flabby tummy skin were not ever going to look better, no matter how much I dieted or exercised. It was depressing and I wore baggy old clothes, despite having lost all the baby weight. 1 year after my mommy makeover and I feel like the hot mama I am on the inside! I can wear anything I want and look great now. Only problem is now I spend too much on new clothes. You gave your body and do everything for your kids. Do this for you!
Thank you for your question. Whether or not you can wear makeup one day after a chemical peel will depend on the depth of the peel. A light peel only affects the superficial top layer of the skin, and therefore it is probably safe to wear makeup after a light peel. Medium and deep peels penetrate deeper into the skin, dissolving away the protective outer layers and exposing healthy new skin underneath. However, that healthy new skin needs time to heal, and putting makeup on can not only irritate this delicate tissue, but also put you at a higher risk for infection. As such, I recommend that you wait at least a week before wearing makeup after a medium or deep peel. With all of that being said, you should consult with the experienced person who is performing your peel. They can give you more specific answers according to your skin and the type of peel you have chosen. Best, Dr. Verbin
Thank you for your question. The best way to prepare for a Mommy Makeover is to, first, make sure that you are following your surgeon’s pre-op instructions to the letter. This means stopping any medications or supplements that may adversely affect your surgery, maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regimen, and preparing for a few weeks of downtime and recovery. Contrary to what you may think, losing weight or exercising intensely prior to your surgery is not recommended. Your best results will come from maintaining a stable weight, and giving yourself time after surgery to heal before jumping back into everyday activities. Best, Dr. Verbin
Thank you for your question. I usually recommend that my patients wait at least six months after completely stopping breastfeeding before undergoing a Mommy Makeover. This allows your body time to settle into a stable weight. As far as traveling from NY to Orlando for surgery, I don’t recommend it. You would need to stay in Orlando for at least two weeks post-surgery to recover enough to travel back home, and if you encountered complications later, you would need to return to your surgeon in Orlando for treatment. And while some surgeons will do a virtual consultation, a Mommy Makeover is a significant procedure - one that absolutely needs to involve an in-person consultation. I recommend that you find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who is experienced in Mommy Makeover procedures. In the long run, the results will be worth it. Best, Dr. Verbin
Thank you for your question. The short answer is yes, you can wear a bikini a year after a tummy tuck. A tummy tuck incision is designed to be hidden by your underwear or bikini, provided they are not extremely low cut on the waist or high cut around the legs. There are also ways to minimize the appearance of your scar with silicone strips and avoiding the sun while you heal. The best person to answer your question will be a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in the tummy tuck procedure. At your consultation, they can answer any questions you may have, as well as show you before and after photos of tummy tuck patients to give you an idea of what you can expect. Best, Dr. Verbin
Thank you for your question. The cost of a tummy tuck can vary according to several factors - are you getting a full tummy tuck, or a mini tummy tuck? Are you combining your tummy tuck with liposuction or other procedures to complement your results? Where is your surgeon located? The best way to find out the specific answer to your question is to shop around. However, keep in mind the importance of getting your tummy tuck performed by a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in the procedure. This will not only help to ensure that you get the beautiful results you want, but that your surgery goes safely and smoothly. Best, Dr. Verbin
