I have been getting lip injections for a couple years now, and in the last round (about a month or two ago) for the first time I got these lines around the coroners of my top lip (see photo). I think I got them because I got more in my top lip than usual. I know you can get filler in them, but I'm wondering if they will go away on their own over time as my top lip starts to dissolve?

If your lips are uneven after two weeks then I would encourage you to return to your treating provider to have the filler dissolved. It is an art to inject fillers, especially in the lips. Please consult an expert in cosmetic lip injections for the best results. Best, Dr. Green

Hi Mishalady,Though there are no photos that we can assess, generally, if you dislike your long philtrum and you need red lip enhancement, injection of a selective moldable filler to enhance the vermillion border will make the philtrum appear shorter and mimic an upper lip lift effect.
