Will lip lines around corners of mouth from fillers go away on their own? (photos)

Thank you for your question. The lines you are describing should go away as the swelling goes down and as the product gets broken down. If it really bothers you, you can have the product dissolved.

There are three things that you can do. Number one, you can have the filler in the lips dissolved so it stops pushing on the cheek and forming the fold. Number two option is to have the fold filled out with a filler. Number three option is to simply wait it out, but by then a permanent wrinkle may be formed. Good luck from New York City

The lines you are referring to will soften over time as your body will breakdown the dermal filler. Hyaluronidase may also be used to dissolve some of the upper lip filler causing those lines. I recommend following up with your injector. All the best, Dr Michon

The area will smooth out on its own as the body breaks down the product. If you are unhappy you can have your provider inject hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler, a small amount would be needed to smooth the product that is causing the line without effecting the product in your lips.
