Why does my lip filler dissolve so quick?

Im a 26 year old healthy non smoker and iv tried different types of lip filler over the past year and the last filler i used was juvederm voluma about 3 months ago, but my lips are already almost back to their normal size after having a total of almost 2ml of juvederm voluma and restylane, why is it that every time i get my lips done they disappear a lot quicker than expected? These Allergan fillers, including Voluma but especially the Juvederms, are described by the marketers as "smooth." I call them runny. If you have had a total of 3 ml of Hyaluronic acid fillers in your lips including Voluma and Restylane, I highly doubt that your lips look "normal." What your are really saying is that you are going for a particular look (think Kylie Jenner wax lip look) and you are not getting that. Stop using runny fillers. Restylane is the only product that will old where it is placed. You probably need the stuff that has diffused out of the lip edge removed. Mixing fillers results in a filler mixture that is intermediate in properties based on the mixture. I think posting a photo here would be very helpful for more specific help.

People metabolize fillers differently. If your body metabolizes Juvederm quickly, regardless of which type of Juvederm this is, then I would recommend sticking with the product from the Restylane family. Restylane Lyft may do a very nice job for you. Good luck from New York City

Hello and thank you for your question! Unfortunately, dermal filler in the lips generally last the least amount of time than dermal filler in other areas of the face. This is simply because the lips move more than most areas on the face (talking, chewing food, etc), therefore, the body metabolizes dermal filler in the lips quicker.
