Question

I had a lip lift with Philip Solomon in Toronto. I'm now out of town, so I can't visit the same doctor. Besides the reddish scars, will the cut and hole be healed? If not, is there a solution? Can they be filled with silicone?

Hidef protocols can help with visible lip lift scars on the face. I see a lot of these in my office in Beverly Hills. Surgery is often not needed if lasers and HIDEF scar revision techniques are introduced. 
In our office, we combine treatments starting with topical pre-conditioning of the scars with Plato's Scar Serum for hypertrophy and Melarase PM for pigmentation. Fractional RF, laser, and micro fractional RF can help limit scar growth. Kenalog IIT can also help reduce scar thickness. For lip lift scars specifically, I use selective Hyfrecation to reduce scarring.

From the photo you provided it looks like part of your incision opened up. Be sure to keep it moist with either Aquaphor or Vaseline. It will eventually heal, but you can't be certain of the appearance of the scar later on. Be sure to send this photo to Dr. Solomon. He should be able to talk to you about it over the phone since you are out of town.
