I had my lips done 8 days ago with juvaderm and they still dont feel super natural and pillowy and underneath my lip I can feel a hard lump that is sore is that normal? I will like to add she used Botox needles saying it would help achieve a more lifted effect. I didn't attach a pic because my lips look normal there's no obvious appearance of lumps and I feel it on the inner part of my lip. Also would like to add this is my first time getting injections.

Answer: Lumps after filler If you ever have any concerns it is best to follow up with your injecting physician so they can see it in person. Lumps can occur after filler and may be worsen by swelling in the first 2 weeks. As the filler absorb water lips will feel softer and more natural. If there is still lumps after 2 weeks they can be dissolved.

Answer: Lumps after Juvederm Thank you for sharing your concerns, and congratulations on getting your first filler treatment! It's not uncommon to feel firm lumps or nodules of Juvederm in your lips right after treatment. With time, the Juvederm should absorb water and soften, so you don't feel it in your lips as much. This process can take up to two weeks. If you're still feeling the lumps after two weeks, I would recommend that you follow-up with your injector to discuss your concerns. They may be able to gently massage your filler to blend it into your lips. If that does not work, the nodule can be dissolved with a medication called hyaluronidase. Best of luck!
