How to fix the appearance of sunken eyes after Juvederm Voluma injection into cheeks?

About a month ago I had juvederm injected into my cheeks and now my eyes look very sunken. This is my second time getting juvederm, the first time was a few years ago. Everything went perfectly the first time, unfortunetely due to moving I had to see someone new. The injection seemed like it was too high, directly below my undereye area my cheeks jut out. My wedding is 4 weeks away so I'd be too worried about getting my under eyes injected with anything. Is there anything else that can be done?

It's really hard to answer this question without pictures.  If your cheeks were overfilled, then you may benefit from having some of the product broken down to help reduce this transition.  If, however, an adequate amount of cheek volume was placed but not you are seeing tear trough volume loss, then another filler such as Juvederm/Restylane/Belotero can possibly be used to help smooth in this area. Given how close you are to your wedding, I would proceed cautiously since there is no way to guarantee that you won't bruise.  As such, I would be very careful with both timing as well as selection of an injector. I hope that helps!

# Voluma is an excellent filler for enhancing volume at the lateral cheeks and zygoma, but in people with small, close or deep-set eyes, may accentuate this problem if not specifically addressed.  You may need filler for the tear troughs or some reduction of the Voluma. Pictures would have helped, but I suggest you return to your physician to see what can be done.
