I'm a female and I'm 22 and I've had puffy nipples all my life and I've always hated them so I was wondering what surgery's can be done, the cost, and the healing process.

Answer: Puffy Areolas Let me restate your question. You don't like the puffiness of your nipple/areola complex. You are not complaining about the size of the areola. This condition is very common in young women as their breasts grow. Look up Tanner stages of breast development. Some women see this puffiness as erotic/youthful, but you don't like it. To place a scar around your (mostly Left) areola to settle this may not work, and may cause numbness or dysfunction of your breast later in life (breastfeeding). Be careful to see an experienced surgeon, or you could be disappointed. This problem will likely go away with time if you do nothing, considering the size of your breasts. Best of luck to you!
