Can I have two surgeries done within a week or two of each other?

Hello and thank you for your question. The breast augmentation portion is fine to do as long as the abdominal surgery is not complex and not an open procedure.  You should be fine if it is done laprscopically and without complications.   The most important aspect is to find
a surgeon you are comfortable with.  I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

There are many factors that go in to safe surgery. The first procedure can lead to subtle effects on body fluids, mobility, and hydration. The breast augmentation procedure should be very safe if done under the right circumstances. I would have an honest discussion with your plastic surgeon to get his feelings. I would wait until you are fully healed from the laparascopic procedure before considering having a breast augmentation. If something goes wrong with the first surgery, you do not want to get cross-contamination or a complication that can impact your second surgery.

Very realistic depending upon certain conditions.   You should first consider the laparoscopic surgery prior to doing anything else.  Ask your surgeon if he/she feels that you are at increased risk for an infection/abscess.  If the response is no - I personally wouldn't see any issues about doing your breast augmentation shortly thereafter. However, if you are at increased risk - I would make certain that the risk doesn't become a reality by waiting several weeks.  The main issue that I see is that should you develop a generalized infection, or what is known as a bacteremia then you might put the breast implant at risk. Best to ask both of your doctors and get their blessings.  But no,  this is not an unreasonable request.  Best of luck.
