I've had a crooked nose since my early teens - I am now 23 and tired of having such an asymmetrical face. My nose bends towards the left - as can be seen in the photos. I don't mind the side profile or overall shape. Besides this, the tip of my nose droops down and my nostrils rise when I smile. Is this something that could also be corrected with rhinoplasty? I know any procedure won't make it 100% straight but looking for opinions on what is achievable for me, or any other useful info.
Answer: Rhinoplasty Thanks for the question. Based on them you will need a rhinoplasty procedures. It can be performed under local anaesthesia and in one time. The recovery time will be in between 7-10 days. I wish you all the best.

Answer: Rhinoplasty, or nonsurgical rhinoplasty may be considered for achieving a straighter nasal appearance. Your crooked nasal appearance may be from an indentation along the left sidewall of your nose giving a C-shaped appearance. Your nose-lip angle, and profile photos appear pleasing. If your main concern is the crooked appearance, and if there are no breathing issues, permanent nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatments may be considered for adding volume to your left bridge which may improve symmetry. If you have obstructed breathing on your left, rhinoplasty surgery with spreader grafting may be considered. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph.

Answer: Very crooked nose - am I a good candidate for rhinoplasty? If the appearance of your nose concerns you enough, it can be straightened and significantlycosmetically improved with a rhinoplasty and probable septoplasty. Whether it is worth doing is a decision that is personal and only you can make. Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do and technically exactly how to do it based on two dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. Natural appearing results need to be individualized and what is appropriate for one patient is not necessarily the best for someone else. I would suggest that you find a surgeon with extensive rhinoplasty experience certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (CSAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. The extent and length of the procedure, cost, and the specific operative steps to achieve an ideal cosmetic result vary from patient to patient and would depend on the findings at your consultation examination. Answer: Rhinoplasty for Crooked nose Based on the photos you provided, you do appear to be a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. Straightening a crooked nose is one of the more challenging aspects of rhinoplasty. Aligning a crooked nose starts with the proper assessment through a physical examination. The nose should be addressed into thirds: the upper third/ nasal bones, the middle vault, and the tip area. Specific techniques need to be employed to each area to have the best outcome.
