My nose tip is progressively drooping more and more over time. Is this pollybeak deformity? I am getting steroid injections but not sure if this will help resolve this? In the pic left- 1.5 weeks post op I had good projection and rotation. Pic on the right was taken today feb2(a little over 2 months post op) I can a significant droop. What could this be due to?
Answer: Rhinoplasty postop course Rhinoplasty always involves a lot of patients during the healing. You have to give it one year for everything to settle down and see the final result before you make any determination. Do not been a rush to make any changes.RegardsDr. J

Answer: Tip drooping at 2 months post rhinoplasty Hi there. It is a bit early to be calling the final result but it is common for the tip to droop over time unless specific measures are taken to maintain projection and lift. If it is still an issue after 1 year, you may want to consider a revision at that stage. For now, it is best to be patient and see where the natural changes and resolution of swelling take you!.

Answer: Drooping nose 2 months post-op? You have to give yourself some more healing time. Your nose and surrounding areas are going to be swollen for a while and you should be consulting the surgeon that performed the procedure but give yourself some time before going back in so some of it can subside. It can take up to a year for final results. Sincerely, Philip J. Miller, MD, FACS Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Nose still drooping after rhinoplasty? Can take up to 1 year for final results It's still too soon to tell what your final results will be. You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose, then that is the time to think about a revision procedure. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose and under eyes take the time to heal. I hope this helps.

Answer: Droopy Nose after Rhinopkasty It’s hard to accurately comment without a preoperative photo. In addition, the photos is are not at the same angle. That being said, in my opinion, it is not normal to have that much dropping happen just from swelling going down. It looks as if you have lost support at your caudal septum. You need to discuss with your surgeon.
