Does cool sculpting get rid of hereditary chubby cheeks?

CoolSculpting can be used to reduce unwanted areas of fat on the body and under the chin, but it is not currently developed to be used on the face.

The submental area is the only FDA cleared area for Coolsculpting in the head and neck region. There are other options for reducing cheek volume that can be discussed upon consultation.

CoolSculpting is not FDA approved for the facial area. CoolSculpting is an effective way to nonsurgically reduce fat on the body and in the submental area (double chin). In our practice we also offer tumescent liposuction for a more instant method of fat reduction. This is done under local anesthesia using a microcannula. Minimal downtime, smaller incisions, and little scarring. For optimal results, please see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

Coolsculpting isn’t approved to be used on the face. However, there are injectables that can dissolve fat, such as Kybella. I would recommend a consultation with an experienced injector to see if you would be a candidate for Kybella. Good luck!
