I had CoolSculpting done today and the tech. used Cool Advantage Petite on my lower abs, will I get the same results?

The CoolSculpting technology works no matter where it’s placed. The applicators don’t deliver different levels of cryolipolysis; they are only sized differently to treat various areas. If your doctor used the Petite, then probably the area being treated was rather small. CoolAdvantage only takes 35 minutes to work per area, no matter where in the body the treatment is taking place. This is a distinct advantage over the original CoolSculpting, which took about 60 minutes to work. At our center, we further halve the procedure by offering DualSculpting — treating both sides of the body at once! Yes, this will give the same results. Keep in mind, for best results, a combination approach with other non-invasive treatments is needed and some people need more than one treatment with Coolsculpting. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. The Cool Advantage Petite applicators give the same results as the larger applicators.  For people who are very small, it may be possible that the petite applicator would be needed to fit the patient's abdomen.  The decision as to which applicator or applicators to use on the abdomen is determined by the person performing the treatment, but some people may not just fit the larger applicators.  The treatment results will be the same no matter what size applicator was used as long as the area with fat was included in the treatment.
