I am 50 and trying to slow down Father time. Want to stay as young looking as long as possible. Sculptura a couple of years ago and now trying ultherapy. Eager to see results in 3 months. Dr Joe gave me a nerve block and while having it is slightly uncomfortable to have the block, It is my understanding that it made the ultherapy much easier.
Tired of working out and the diet thing with obvious areas still bugging me. Cool sculpting is painless and hopefully I will get the results I want. My abdomen shows no improvement over the years. A tummy tuck 20 years ago, I still had zero contour in my stomach region. Wanted some definition. Should see results in two months. I will continue with my exercise and diet.
Due to the type of work I do my job requires a lot of intense concentration and focus. Over time, that led to me having extremely deep frown lines between my eyebrows. The result was that I tended to look like I was always mad or unhappy, which was rarely the actual case. I grew tired looking like that and wanted to make a change. Honestly, the idea of a "Botox" type of procedure was something that sounded ridiculous at first (I'm a middle-aged man) but the more I saw myself in pictures, the mirror, whatever, the less I liked how I looked. So I finally just decided to get the procedure done and I'm glad I did. While the lines aren't completely gone yet (this was my first procedure), they have been significantly reduced and that alone has already helped with my self-confidence regarding my appearance. I'll definitely go back and do the procedure again because the results are worth getting over my initial reaction/reluctance to go through with any type of cosmetic surgery.
So far I am very happy, anxious to see the outcome in 2 weeks! Very little pain at the injections, she took time to make sure the area was numb and I got the most for my money. Would recommend to all of my friends. Friendly staff. In time with my appointment. Addressed my concerns and helped me relax.
It has been a great experience in this office and getting service... Love the fact they take their time during consultation and the process is very pleasant. i needed a smoother skin around my eyes and have tried Dysport & loved it. I will defintaely return and try additional services at this office.
It’s a fast and easy experience. The staff is very welcoming the chemical peels are what I go for and are a pleasant experience for me. I always see Rachael and she’s a hoot! Wait time is never long just 1-2 mins. Am going to do more procedures in the near future.
My 40th Birthday is approaching and I want to look nice and young, so dr recommended a little bit of Botox on forehead and eyes, along with a serum that is applied twice daily and a moisturizer, when he did the Botox injections it didn’t hurt at all I think the anticipation was worst, I’m very satisfied and will do this again in about 4 months
Had a good 1st round and then decided just needed 1 more round and will wait to see the finished results. So far I like them. Dr. Joe answered my questions and didn't seem to mind all the questions I had. He's very patient and caring about your results and will make you look natural and not stiff looking.
I finally worked up the courage to get Restylane fillers for the first time and it was so worth it! The front desk staff were so nice and accommodating and I didn't have to wait long at all to get seen. Jennifer did my procedure and she made me feel so calm and comfortable and talked me through the entire process. I will definitely be going back!
The Clear Lake Dermatology office in Webster is easy to make an appointment. The staff are friendly and informative on the products they use and updated to the latest techniques. I have gone to Jennifer for the last 2 years for botox and fillers to smooth out my fine lines and fill in my deeper wrinkles. The results take a few years off your appearance.
With Emsculpt it usually takes 2-4 months to see the full effect of treatments. You will see results from the muscle building occur very quickly, usually during the first month, and the muscles become more defined each day as fat is broken down. Most of the results can be seen within 6-8 weeks. However, it can take as long as 4 more months for the fat to be broken down, which is similar to other bodysculpting treatments like Coolsculpting.
Thanks for your question. Emsculpt for the buttocks using protocol 2 will firm, tighten, and lift the buttocks for a more rounded appearance. Some people see before and afters showing very full buttocks created by Emsculpt. However, not everyone will get such a boost in volume. If a patient already does not have a certain degree of fullness to the buttocks already, Emsculpt cannot create full buttocks from flatter buttocks. If there is alot of fat in the buttocks and you are looking to slim and reduce this fat, then it is possible to use Protocol 1 on the buttocks.
Sculptra is an excellent treatment for the temples. You will typically see very nice temporary results for 1-2 weeks after each treatment session, which subsides and rebuilds through collagen stimulation. Sculptra does take time to build up, but you are right in that it is very long lasting (2+ years). Hyaluronic acid fillers work well in this area as well, and give immediate results. Voluma can last 1-2 years. It really depends on how immediate you are looking to get results.
Everyone's muscle strength is different, and some people will need more Botox, and some less. It really depends on the strength of your muscles at baseline. Most people will require 20 units of Botox as a good starting point, although some require even more than that! So it is likely that you just need more units of Botox if there is still residual movement that bothers you.
Ultherapy works well in combination with injectables like fillers and Botox. In fact, we use Ultherapy quite commonly in combination with Sculptra. Ultherapy lifts and tightens the skin through renewal of collagen throughout different layers of the skin. Fillers can be injected deep over the bone or within the dermis. It is actually unknown whether Ultherapy treatments affect fillers in the skin, although they are processed at much higher temperatures during the manufacturing process, so theoretically, it would be fine to perform Ultherapy over areas of fillers. When performed on the same day, we recommend having Ultherapy performed first.
